What is your cancellation and refund policy in the event of the unforeseen (Coronavirus or other)
We offer our customers the most flexible cancellation and refund policy possible, you can cancel simply by sending us an email (contact@xtlour.fr) and obtain a 100% refund if this request is made at at least 24 hours before the start of the scheduled tour, regardless of the reason for your cancellation. Once this period has passed we will not proceed to any refund .
I have trouble finding my way on the internet I see photos of rides on big electric scooters is it still possible to rent them?
Unfortunately no, these photos do belong to the XL Tour company but correspond to our old activity which has been replaced by the electric bikes that you now see on the site.
Why did you stop the scooter tours?

Quite simply because the evolution of the law concerning scooters in France and their place has evolved and no longer allowed us to guarantee the safety of our customers.
Is there a minimum size for driving the bikes?

Yes there is a minimum height required of 1m55, below this size the passenger seat is recommended for safety measures.
I would like to take the tour with young children is that possible?
​
Our electric bikes are equipped with a passenger seat for children between 7 and 11 years old, for younger children between 0 and 6 years old and within the limit of 30kg a baby seat can be installed in the back. Added to this is the loan of a helmet to their size to protect them.
My child is 12 years old but is less than 1m55 will he be able to drive his own electric bike?

Unfortunately in this case we will not be able to let your child drive because the saddle is not adjustable, it could put itself in danger, however a passenger seat will be available to accommodate it.
Can I come to your store to book a tour directly?
Unfortunately, as our premises are not a shop, we cannot make direct reservations or welcome you, reservations must be made online only.
Is there a guide with us during the tour?
Yes there is a guide who will ensure your safety at all times during the course.
Can my child under 12 drive a segway?
No unfortunately the current law does not currently allow a child under 12 to drive a segway.
If it rains on the day of the tour, what happens?

If the weather conditions do not allow the tour to be carried out normally the team will decide to cancel the tour and you will be fully refunded. Please note that after the deadline of 24 hours before the round only the team is entitled to judge
I would like to cancel my tour, how can I get a refund?

All you have to do is send us an email to contact@xltour.fr , please note that only tours canceled at least 24 hours before the tour will be refunded after this period, the tour will be debited in full.
If my child or myself is not able to drive on D-Day, what happens?

All seats are considered to be definitively sold after 24 hours before the start of the tour, if for one reason or another , one of the participants is not able to drive in a secure manner, a refund in the form of a gift card will be offered ( costs of 30 euros will be deducted from each place), please note that this offer is only valid for places reserved directly on our website www.xltour.fr and is not valid for places purchased on Viator, TripAdvisor, GYG, Airbnb (these places are not refundable in the event of inability to conduct ) . If you have any doubts about the abilities of a participant in your group, do not hesitate to contact us beforehand so that we can give you details.
Can I rent a bike for the day?

Currently no, but we are considering whether to create such an offer.
Is there a dress code to respect the day of the tour?
​
It is recommended to come in comfortable clothes and to avoid skirts for these ladies, thongs and heels are prohibited.
My child is less than 12 years old but is more than 1.55m, is it possible that he or she rides his own bike?

Yes, this is possible, however, it must be checked by the team during the briefing and the test in order to guarantee the safety of your child.
Is the helmet compulsory?
​
The helmet is compulsory on a segway, on an electric bike it is for children under 12 years old but we recommend it and provide it for all participants, if you do not want to wear it, the team will ask you to make a disclaimer before leaving.
Can I put two adults on a bicycle?

Yes it is possible but only if the weight of the two participants does not exceed 150kg in total.
